A few years ago I was experiencing some really intense joint inflammation. It got so bad that I couldn’t wash my hair with both hands or tie it back in a ponytail without pain, especially in my elbows. After changing my diet over and over, changing my birth control 3 times, and being on so, so many herbal supplements, I never figured out exactly what was going on — other than total havoc on my skin. Because of all the changes (and the added stress from those changes) I got the worst acne that I’ve had in my entire life. I still have some of the scars from it. When I taught yoga, I felt so self-conscious about my skin. I really struggled with what products to put on my skin so as to not irritate my acne, but also cover it up, all while also thinking of what’s a “good for you” product. I found products that worked here and there, but then after a while the breakouts would come back or performance with lack.
After a couple weeks of using Beautycounter products, my skin looks the clearest and feels the best that it’s ever felt. And I do too. When I step out of the door in the morning I feel really confident and positive. I feel like I’ve cleaned up my skin for the first time in years and that I FINALLY found something that works. I share my story with the success I’ve had with BeautyCounter products because I know that some of you out there have similar stories of frustration.
